Henley on Thames, Extreme Slope

Description

A raised flower bed, two sail shades, and a Venetian fence add to the architectural value of the main seating area. Two smaller seatings have been placed by the pond, in the form of a patio and a suspended deck. The feature complex in the centre of the garden acts as a focal point and provides a soft visual barrier which hides the play area equipment. The central feature is composed of raised beds, Venetian cladding, a waterfall and a contemporary shelf for stacking logs. Vegetable beds have been made from solid oak sleepers of variable height, both to creating interesting forms and to provide for vegetables requiring different soil depths.
