Maidenhead, Contemporary Setting
Description
This particularly long garden has been divided into three zones in order to create different rooms within the space. From the main decking near the house, a meandering path runs to the middle patio, which is surrounded by feature walls and covered with a wide-span pergola. The path continues its way on the opposite side towards the third seating area, which consists of a deck, raised flower beds and built-in benches with a modern white wall in the background. Wall lights add another dimension to the garden at night, and topiary Box plants in planters create a formal modernity. Having three seating areas allows the garden to be enjoyed from different angles, and to provide varied visual experiences at different times of the year.
